Job Description:

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for the management of on-site staff continuously to ensure uninterrupted workflow and promptly resolve staff performance issues. The Site Supervisor shall be physically present for a normal 40-hour workweek at the designated office location in the city of Washington, DC. The Site Supervisor will assign duties appropriate for the successful completion of the specific contractual tasks to include mail center services, office supply operations and materials management, switchboard and receptionist duties, copy center support, help desk support, building support operations, general administrative and clerical support, human resource file room support, graphics design and photography/videography services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This individual shall provide guidance to staff and general management and coordination of services within their area of assignment. The Site Supervisor shall also routinely perform assigned tasks in any area as needed. The Site Supervisor may also monitor and report on the status and progress of work assignments and resolve problems. In the absence of the Site Manager, the Site Supervisor may function in that capacity.

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Skill and experience demonstrating compliance with United States Postal Service mail practices and use of various express mail services.
  • Skill and experience in the operation of mailroom and Copy Center equipment, including high volume computerized MFD’s and scanners.
  • Skill and experience in inventory management practices.
  • Knowledge and experience of office stock replenishment requirements, processing supply orders and the procurement of stock from vendors.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in operation and management of a reception desk or help desk.
  • Skill and experience in the use and operation of high-volume telephone switchboards/attendant consoles.
  • Ability to lift and move (with or without accommodation) parcels, furniture and equipment up to 70 pounds.


Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with a minimum of three years’ experience in various phases of facilities management.
  • Skill and experience in human resource management reflecting a minimum of one-year supervisory responsibility.
